A new development project in Ontario is set to transform the skyline of Niagara Falls with the construction of twin skyscrapers that will include a casino.
Hennepin Realty Holdings has filed plans with the City of Niagara Falls to build 58-floor twin towers
Developer Hennepin Realty Holdings has filed plans with the City of Niagara Falls to build a pair of 58-floor towers on its site at 6546 Fallsview Boulevard.
In fact, the site is currently home to the Oakes Hotel, which features a 21-storey tower overlooking the Falls.
Each tower will stand at 689 feet (210 meters). These towers will be the second-tallest structures in the area, overtaking the Hilton Niagara Falls North Tower (531 feet; 162 meters).
However, it falls just short of Fugiel International Group’s proposed 77-storey condo building, which will be located at 5602 Robinson St. on the southeast corner of Robinson Street and Allandale Avenue in the central tourist district.
After construction, the 962-unit condo will be 734 feet (224 meters) in height.
Furthermore, the main goal of the construction project is to boost tourism and help bolster the province’s economy. The proposed twin skyscrapers in Ontario will become a landmark development for Niagara Falls.
Project will include 1,140 hotel suites, 126 residential units, restaurants, casino, and retail outlets
Additionally, the project will also include 1,140 hotel suites and 126 residential units, housed within a six-story podium topped by a central three-story atrium.
The podium will feature several amenities across its different levels, such as a sky bridge on the fifth level, restaurants and gaming facility spaces on the second level, and a spa, fitness center, and pool on the sixth floor.
These towers will offer breathtaking views of the beautiful waterfalls. The inclusion of a casino is expected to draw a large number of tourists.
Moreover, the twin towers will feature fine high-end retail outlets as well. Gamblers will have a new reason to visit Niagara Falls in the future.
