UFC star Terrance McKinney spoke to Best Sports Betting Canada in an eye-opening interview.  The American fighter takes aim at UK’s superstar Paddy Pimblett, after reports linking them to a potential bout. McKinney also picks Jake to come out ontop over Paddy in a boxing match and wants to see a McGregor v Diaz trilogy.

Highlights from the interview:

  • I’ll knock Paddy Pimblett out – anyone in top 25 could crush him
  • I’ll dethrone ‘The Baddy’ at Anfield and warn the world
  • Everyone knows Jake Paul’s fights are fixed – but he’d still beat Pimblett
  • I want to see Conor McGregor fight Nate Diaz for third time – but in a boxing ring
  • Pimblett blowing up in between fights is harming him – he looks tired

I’ll knock Paddy Pimblett out – let’s do it at Anfield

“If the fight happens of course I can knock Paddy Pimblett out. Anyone can knock him out, like Matt Frevola or Grant Dawson, anyone in the top 25 would honestly crush him. But send me to Liverpool in March for Terrance ‘T-Wrecks’ McKinney vs Paddy ‘The Baddy’. I don’t care if the fans will boo me, I’m just going to drink it in.

“I want to come to Liverpool, to Anfield, the home of Paddy’s soccer team. I want every seat in that stadium filled with scousers. I will walk into the lion’s den and knock that scouser out and remind Liverpool that Terrance McKinney rode into town and dethroned their boy. It will serve as a warning to the rest of the division.”

Blowing up in weight in between fights is harming Paddy Pimblett

“I think Paddy blowing up in weight between fights is definitely having an effect on him. To me he usually does not look that tired like he did in his last fight, and if you look at his technique he has not really changed or improved because he’s spending too much time cutting weight instead of trying to get better. You can get away with that when you’re starting out, but it will catch up with you.

“We’ve talked a few times on Twitter, he’s funny, and honestly, he has a good heart. You can tell. I was actually trying to get on his podcast with him, I think it would be perfect me and him, to talk s**t and have some serious conversations. He’s a cool kid. I need to hit him up but the dude gets banned on Twitter every week so it’s hard to get hold of him.”

Jake Paul’s fights are fixed – but he’ll still beat Paddy Pimblett

Terrance McKinney said, “Jake Paul doesn’t really do strong PPV buys, he’s all talk, maybe on YouTube he’s famous, but everyone knows his fights are kind of fixed, so the hype is kind of dying down. He needs to fight someone his own age if he wants to bring attention to the sport of boxing. He’s picking the older guys who are retired. I want to see him fight someone his age and his size and then I think he can bring excitement to the boxing scene.

“I think Paul has a better defence than Pimblett, honestly. They need to make that happen, I’m down to watch. Three rounds, I’m going to have to go with Jake Paul. He’s too big, he’s got a better defence and honestly a cleaner boxer all round.”

Conor McGregor should fight Nate Diaz for a third time – but in a boxing ring

Terrance McKinney said, “Conor McGregor is low-key the GOAT. He changed the sport forever, no one ran up the bucks and the followers like he did. And he brought so much excitement to the sport. I need the Nate Diaz 3 fight, the fans need it, I need it. I’d actually like to see him in the boxing ring with Nate Diaz. They’re going to stand up and fight anyway, so let’s see them strap it out with their hands. We’ll see Conor get knocked out probably, Nate will probably gas him out and get him out of there.”
