In Canada, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) and the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) have entered a new “Memorandum of Understanding” (MoU). They want to bolster their relationship and collaboration regarding gambling regulations. Both pirates share similar objectives. Making it easy for them to work together. The MGA and AGCO want to protect the public interest while also safeguarding individuals from gambling harm and consumer protection.

According to the MGA, their MoU with the AGCO will strengthen the collaboration between the two. They want to ensure the best practices are being used. This will help create a safer gaming environment in both jurisdictions.

MGA CEO Charles Mizzi shared his thoughts in the collaboration with the AGCO

Charles Mizzi had this to say about collaborating with the AGCO.

“Our ongoing collaboration with AGCO has yielded tangible results in the past, and through this MoU, we are committed to further bolstering our inter-jurisdictional relationship,” said Charles Mizzi. “Our focus remains on fostering the exchange of information, with the overarching goal of improving our regulatory practices and addressing mutual challenges effectively.”
