According to the latest iGaming Ontario marketing report, casino gambling represents 73% of betting revenue for the first quarter (Q1) of the 2024-2025 fiscal year (FY), from April 1 to June 30, 2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith 50 regulated Operators and a one-third increase in wagering and revenue figures over the first quarter of last year, Ontarians who choose to gamble are finding many enjoyable options in our open regulated iGaming market,\u201d said Martha Otton, Executive Director of iGaming Ontario.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe revenue generated by Ontario\u2019s competitive iGaming market contributes directly to provincial priorities such as infrastructure, healthcare, and education.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ontarian gamblers wagered $18.4 billion in Q1 of the 2024-2025 FY. That’s a 3.4% increase over last quarter and a 31% increase over Q1 of last year. Total gaming revenue of $726 million shows a 5.2% increase over Q4 and a 34% increase year-over-year.<\/p>\n
