What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it?
Comments
We collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string. The latter data is collected to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. To view the Gravatar service privacy policy, see the link: https://automattic.com/privacy/.
If you choose to comment on a page, once your comment has been approved by our moderators, your profile picture will be visible to the public alongside your comment.
Media
Avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website users can download and extract any location data from images featured on the site.
Cookies
When leaving a comment on our website, you can opt to save your name, email address, and website as cookies. This is routinely done for convenience since you won’t have to fill in your details again the next time you comment. Cookies last for one year.
Be aware that we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies when you visit our log-in page. No personal data is collected and the cookie is discarded the moment you close your browser.
